To tell you the truth I don’t think I could pick a child. Child as in one of my underclassmen. Not a literal child, wait scratch that they are children. But they are children that have surpassed all my expectations, and even made me feel kind of small compared to them. This would because we recently had our research project to mark the end of a semester. These projects for my underclassmen were about certain art movements and time periods. And man can I say that they were amazing. From the information that they showed to the drawings that they had worked on for weeks. Everything came together so well.
There were a few different presentations that study out to me. One of these presentations was about Hawaiian art and the volcano school movement. The presentation was full of color full art and a great speech. The way the student presented this speech was intriguing and fun. Always trying to get the confidence to participate and ask questions. Another student presentation that I liked and was intrigued by was of a VAM 20 student that did their project on Animation. Their presentation consisted of a greatly put-together video with all the information on their topic, as well as hand-drawn mini animation. Overall super cool and very intriguing. There are so many other projects that were great this year, but I would have to say my favorite was of another VAM 20 that did their project on Banksy the street artist. This project was simple and easy to understand. Unlike the others, this student made a presentation that was straight to the point and full of information. They had done a spray paint on a bored as their visual, which was simple yet made a point. My presentation was of the serialist artist Salvador Dali. which may I say, was a bit weird. I had done a painting that consisted of banzai trees and some Salvador Dali paintings. It was kind of done in a serialist way as well. I’m fairly proud of the amount of information that I fit in my prevention. But I struggled a fair bit with the painting process, losing motivation a few times throw out the project. If I had to change anything, it would be the mindset that I had to go into this project and the one that I had when I was done. Over all I have found out that I may not be the best and sersilest painting, but I would like to get better and try that kind of art style more often. After this project, I can strongly say im not the fondest of resuching and speaking in front of people, how ever I will try to get better.
